Whole Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel

The owners of this old farmhouse, located on a 5-acre farm in rural Henry County, north of New Castle, IN, desired to mix and match materials to emphasize the home’s natural elements, while also retaining the homey feel of an old farmhouse kitchen. Working in partnership with Ferrell Builders, crews removed walls to open up the kitchen and installed arched headers trimmed with wood overlays to add aesthetic interest.

• Vintage lighting centerpiece, historic natural light transom, LED display lights for coffee bar
• Multi-colored stone tile backsplash
• Brick entryway flooring, carried over to hutch backsplash with tower and glass cabinets
• Quartz countertops, custom wood countertop for hutch
• Two-tone cabinetry with stained alder wood base cabinets, painted maple wood floor-to-ceiling wall cabinets
• 48-inch, commercial-size oven with stainless steel range and copper hood
