About Richard’s

Handed down from father to son, Richard’s Kitchens + Baths grew from one man’s desire to create and design with his hands. Company namesake and founder Richard Rawson tried to follow in his father’s footsteps as a pharmacist, but soon discovered his true love centered around designing creative spaces. Several decades and satisfied clients later, Richard turned over the full-service design firm to his son, Greg, who learned kitchen and bath design on the job with his dad while pursuing a business degree from Ball State University.

The family-owned business continues its long tradition of delivering quality and excellence today. Greg, an NKBA-certified designer, and his team of true professionals and craftsmen at Richard’s Kitchens + Baths transform homes throughout Delaware County and surrounding areas. Proficient in space planning, color coordination, safety and other aspects of reimagining your home, the RKBC team will guide you from start to finish, whether it’s a full kitchen or bath remodel, a man cave in the basement or a nicely organized walk-in closet.

Experience. Excellence. Outstanding Service. Let Richard’s Kitchens + Baths reimagine your home’s space with a unique design, professional installation, and a dedicated commitment for quality.

Richard's Staff

Our Team

Certified in kitchen and bath design by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Greg loves to create unique, custom solutions for every client. He thrives on building a team to accomplish a common goal and he most values the relationships he builds with every new client. “I just love what I do. I love every aspect of it,” he says.

Greg learned the design trade from his father, Richard Rawson, who started Richard’s Kitchen & Bath Center in 1971. With a Business Degree from Ball State University, Greg joined his dad in the family business in 1986 and took over as owner in 2000. A methodical man who always cheers for the underdog, Greg starts every day conquering his love-hate relationship with Crossfit exercise.

Brad joined Richard’s Kitchens + Baths in 2000 after working in the construction industry for eight years and earning a degree in Building Trades Technology from Vincennes University. As Project Facilitator, Brad runs the production side of the business, overseeing every project installation and working to solve any problems along the way.

Brad’s reliability, attention to detail and strong work ethic shines on every job, if our client testimonials are any indication! A man with a quirky sense of humor who loves John Wayne westerns, Brad spends his free time caring for Buck, Charlie, Tucker and Moose (two horses, a dog and a cat) on his Randolph County hobby farm, or doing small projects around the home. “Anything related to everything. Just a little of this or a litte of that,” he says.

Connie joined Richard’s Kitchens + Baths in 2016 after studying interior design and earning a degree in 2008 from Ball State University. As Sales and Design Assistant, Connie creates computer-ready presentations for all kitchen and bath designs and facilitates the designers in any way she can to keep projects on target.

Connie’s versatility, confidence and working knowledge of the construction industry serves her well at RKBC, tapping into her many skillsets to get the job done. Connie says she’s happiest when playing with her husband and toddler son, whose gravitation toward all things “boy” continues to amaze her. An artist at heart, Connie also loves to paint and create. “I’m a crafter. I love to do all of the arts and crafts,” she says.

Pat joined Richard’s Kitchens + Baths in 2011 as a carpenter and lead installer. He’s worked in the construction industry since 1986, and says he gives 100% effort on every project. Easygoing and “generally a happy person,” Pat loves to work with his hands and takes great pride in creating a fine piece of woodworking.

On the weekends, you’re likely to find Pat working around the house or sitting on the banks of White River with his two grown sons trying to catch some fish. While he introduced his boys to the sport, “they pretty much teach me now,” he says. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Pat loves the Chicago Cubs and relishes the team’s 2016 World Series win.

Amy joined the family-owned and operated Richard’s Kitchens + Baths in 2012 to manage the office, do bookkeeping, greet customers and complete other administrative duties.

Described by her boss-husband Greg as a “firecracker who loves life,” Amy is typically the first friendly face to warmly greet all who visit the RKBC showroom.

Once business needs are met, Amy and Greg love to be on the go and spend much of their free time at Purdue University with their youngest daughter or enjoying dinner with their oldest daughter and son-in-law. Amy says she admires “anyone who is a planner,” and she learned the value of approaching life with a positive attitude and joyful spirit from a previous employer.
